The University of Virginia has suspended forward Evan Nolte and guard London Perrantes for the team's two preseason games as well as its season-opener, head coach Tony Bennett announced on Friday.

The suspension is related to violations of team rules that occured over the summer. According to the Daily Press's David Teel, Nolte's offseason incident was alcohol related.

Perrantes, a sophomore, averaged 5.5 points and led the team with 3.8 assists per game last season. Nolte, a junior, added 2.8 points per game off the bench.
