New Hampshire routs Thomas (Maine) 84-36

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) Frank Okeke and John Edwards each scored 12 points to help New Hampshire rout Division III Thomas College 84-36 on Tuesday night.

Iba Camara made a free throw to give New Hampshire (1-1) a 20-point lead with four minutes to play in the first half, and they led by double digits the rest of the way. Daniel Dion hit a 3-pointer with 1:25 left before the break to give the Wildcats a 37-14 halftime lead.

New Hampshire opened the second half on a 22-2 run. Camara finished with nine points and grabbed 15 boards for the Wildcats, who outrebounded the Terriers 51-24.

Levi Barnes had 12 points on 6-of-13 shooting to lead Thomas College, which shot just 15 of 54 for 27.8 percent from the floor.

It was the first meeting between the schools.
