SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) Ty Greene scored 18 points, all in the first half, to lead South Carolina-Upstate past National Christian College Athletic Association-member Bob Jones University 107-41 on Thursday night.

Bob Jones' Noah Smith hit a 3-pointer to pull the Bruins within one, 10-9.

Upstate (3-0) responded with a 16-3 run before extending its lead to 32, 56-24, at halftime.

The Spartans made 36 of 51 (59 percent) field goals, including 15 of 27 from 3-point range and scored 100-plus points for the first time since Feb., 2005.

Bob Jones was held to 26.4 percent shooting on 53 field goals, committed 28 turnovers and was out-rebounded 47-26.

Upstate's Tristan Thomas, who entered the game 15:26 to play and a 67-27 lead, hit 7-of-8 3-pointers and scored a career-high 21 points.

Marshall Riddle paced Bob Jones with 18 points.
