Air Force flies past Colorado Christian 70-47

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Max Yon had 20 points and six rebounds to lead Air Force to a 70-47 win over Colorado Christian on Wednesday.

Hayden Graham had 10 points, four assists and Zach Moer contributed eight points, seven rebounds and two blocks for Air Force (2-1). Trevor Lyons added 11 points and three assists for the Falcons.

Michael Brown had 11 points and four assists and Tyler Shields added eight points and eight rebounds for the Cougars (0-3).

After Air Force jumped out to an early 12-5 lead, Tyler Shield hit back-to-back 3-pointers to pioneer a 14-4 run putting the Cougars up 19-16. Up seven midway through the second half, Yon hit a 3-pointer to spark an 18-4 Air Force run to close out the game.

Air Force made 26 of 47 field goals and 53 percent from the 3-point range. Colorado Christian, an NCAA team, shot just 25 percent from the field.
