Texas Southern (0-4) tied it at 49 when Chris Thomas made a layup with 13:23 left but, 9 seconds later Kievyn Lila-St. Rose hit a 3-pointer that sparked a 19-6 Norfolk State run.

The Tigers would get no closer than nine the rest of the way.
