ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) Jace Hogan and Zach Fong scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, as Navy played deep into its bench while defeating Division III Penn State-Harrisburg 67-42 on Wednesday night.
The Midshipmen (2-4) led 21-16 at halftime but opened the second half on a 7-2 run when Edward Alade scored on the opening play, Brandon Venturini dropped a 3-pointer and Alade hit a pair of free throws when fouled by Harrisburg's Arick Sodini.
Alade finished with 11 points and nine rebounds. Venturini, the hero of Navy's first win on Sunday, scored 20 fewer this game with six points.
Winton Lyle scored 12 to lead Harrisburg (1-4). Of the Lions two leading scorers, Sodini fouled out in 19 minutes with six points, and Tariq Bennett was scoreless on a 0-for-5 night of 3-point tries.
Navy committed a season-high 23 turnovers but also made 18 of 26 free throws, a season high in makes.
