Incarnate Word needs 3OTs to survive UMKC, 110-104

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Denzel Livingston hit his first 3-pointer of the night and Kyle Hittle followed with his first two from long range in triple overtime as Incarnate Word outlasted Missouri-Kansas City 110-104 on Saturday night.

Livingston, playing with four fouls throughout overtime, had 16 points in the extra periods and finished with 30.

Jontrell Walker, who totaled 29 points in regulation, fouled out with 4:22 remaining in the first overtime. He split a pair of free throws with 23 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 74.

Reese Holliday, who finished with 12 points, scored five in the first overtime to keep UMKC alive. Darius Austin then scored six in the second, making two free throws with 11 seconds left to send it to the third overtime.

The Cardinals (8-1) lost three players to fouls and UMKC (4-8) had five players foul out.
