Wake Forest forward Aaron Rountree III is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with a broken hand, according to a report from the Winston-Salem Journal.

Rountree reportedly suffered the injury during the Demon Deacons' win over Bucknell on Dec. 22. Over 12 games this season, the 6-foot-8, 200-pound junior was averaging 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds.

Rountree's injury means Wake Forest will likely have only nine scholarship players available for Sunday's game at Richmond. Freshman guard Mitchell Wilbekin is suspended and senior forward Daniel Green is reportedly still recovering from knee surgeries.

Wake Forest (6-6), picked to finish 12th in the ACC in a preseason media poll, opens conference play on Jan. 4 against Louisville.
