CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) Ehab Amin and Rashwan Thomas combined for 31 points to lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to a dominating 87-55 win over NAIA Jarvis Christian on Tuesday night.

Amin was 5 of 8 from the floor for 16 points and had six assists. Thomas made 5 of 7 field goal attempts for 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. John Jordan added 12 and Bryce Douvier chipped in 11 for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5-7).

The Islanders scored the first nine points, led 24-11 midway in the first half and were up 43-21 at the break. They were ahead 68-30 with 9:16 remaining in the game. Jarvis Christian, which made just 16 of 56 field goal attempts, never challenged.

A&M-Corpus Christi won the rebound battle 47 to 31 and scored 38 points in the paint. The Bulldogs scored just 14 inside.

Deon Fisher and Dewayne Wade had 13 apiece for Jarvis Christian.
