Tuesday January 13th, 2015

Penn State announced on Monday that it has suspended guard John Johnson for conduct inconsistent with team standards.

Johnson is in his second season with the Nittany Lions since transferring from Pittsburgh.

Over 16 games this season, he has averaged 7.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20.6 minutes.

It is not known how long the 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior will be suspended.

Nittany Lions coach Patrick Chambers reportedly said that Johnson will not participate in team activities while he is suspended.

Penn State (12-4) will play at Indiana on Tuesday.
