POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) Zaid Hearst scored 27 points and made a go-ahead jumper with 17 seconds left, lifting Quinnipiac to a 72-71 victory over Marist on Sunday.

Ousmane Drame added 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting with 13 rebounds for the Bobcats (9-8, 3-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Samuel Dingba grabbed 10 boards for Quinnipiac, which outrebounded Marist 44-24.

Hearst made a layup, then followed T.J. Curry's 3-pointer with two free throws. Hart tied it up for Marist with a layup with 1:19 left. Evan Conti came up with a steal to set up Hearst's go-ahead jumper.

Eric Truog was fouled attempting a last-second tip-in, but couldn't make both free throws to force overtime.
