Wallace's 22 leads Pacific past San Diego, 59-57

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) T.J. Wallace scored 22, including a three-point play that gave Pacific the lead for good with 40 seconds left, to help the Tigers beat San Diego on Saturday night.

Johnny Dee, who finished with 20 points and scored 11 of the Toreros' final 12, hit a pair of free throws to give San Diego a 57-55 lead with 48 seconds remaining, but Wallace was fouled on a jumper 8 seconds later and converted the three-point play to give Pacific (10-9, 2-5 West Coast) the lead for good.

After Pacific's David Taylor made 1 of 2 free throws to make it 59-57 with 3 seconds to go, Eric Thompson blocked a potential winning 3 by San Diego (9-11, 2-6).

There were five ties and four lead changes in the final 5:33.

Ray Bowles added 12 points and Thompson had a career-high 11 rebounds for Pacific, which snapped a three-game losing streak.
