Defensively, ETSU held The Citadel to 39 percent shooting from the field while forcing 16 turnovers.
ETSU opened the game on a 9-2 run and held a nine-point halftime lead. The Citadel trimmed the lead as low as five in the second, but could not complete the comeback.
