North Carolina State guard Trevor Lacey hit a three-point shot at the overtime buzzer to beat Georgia Tech, 81-80, at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday.
With Georgia Tech leading by two and less than five seconds remaining, Wolfpack forward Cody Martin rebounded a missed free throw and threw a pass to Lacey near midcourt.
He took two dribbles forward and pulled up in front of the three-point line, where two Yellow Jackets defenders leapt to contest the shot. The ball swished through the hoop, and Lacey and his teammates celebrated on the court.
