MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) Shaq Goodwin scored 16 points with seven rebounds and led five players in double figures as Memphis clobbered Jacksonville State 74-48 on Wednesday night.

Goodwin finished with 7-of-12 shooting from the field for the Tigers (14-8). Trashon Burrell added 13 points and Austin Nichols had 12. Kedren Johnson and Nick King had 10 points apiece.

Memphis led by 10 at halftime and went on to outscore Jacksonville State nearly 2-to-1 in the second half.

The Tigers hit 49.2 percent from the field and 69.2 percent from the line. They outrebounded the Gamecocks (9-16) 37-28 and controlled the ball throughout the game, committing just three turnovers.

Malcolm Drumwright led the Gamecocks with 12 points and four rebounds.

Memphis has now won six of its last eight games, with losses to American Athletic Conference leader Tulsa on Jan. 21 and to No. 2 Gonzaga last Saturday.
