Bowling Green slips past Central Michigan, 76-74, in OT
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) Anthony Henderson scored eight of his 20 points in overtime, and Jehvon Clarke finished with 18 points to help Bowling Green overcome a season-high 24 turnovers and beat Central Michigan 76-74 on Wednesday night.
After Chris Fowler hit a 3 to give Central Michigan (15-5, 5-4 Mid-American) a 70-69 lead with 1:35 left in overtime, Henderson hit his second 3-pointer of the extra frame.
Denny had 12 points, while Holmes and Delvin Dickerson scored 10 apiece for Bowling Green (14-6, 6-3), which made 28 of 52 (53 percent) field goals.
Fowler scored a career-high 42 for Central Michigan, which made just 6 of 30 (20 percent) from 3-point range.
