FARGO, N.D. (AP) Lawrence Alexander scored 18 points to help lead North Dakota State to a 64-57 win over Nebraska-Omaha on Thursday night.

Nebraska-Omaha (8-14, 2-8) led 42-41 with 12:31 remaining, but 3-pointers from Jacobson and Paul Miller bookended a 14-6 scoring spurt over the next 5:54 which gave the Bison the lead for good.

North Dakota State holds a commanding 45-28 lead in the series all-time, and is 7-0 against the Mavericks since they moved to Division I in 2012.
