WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) Jordan Talley scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead UNC Wilmington to a 58-45 win over College of Charleston on Wednesday night.
Addison Spruill had 16 points, including 8 of 8 free throws, and Freddie Jackson added 12 points for the Seahawks (14-10, 9-4), who now hold a half-game advantage of second place in the Colonial Athletic Association.
UNC Wilmington was down by four points midway through the second half before going on a 21-0 run to put the game out of reach. Spruill scored 10 point during the stretch.
Chealey made a basket at the 17:49 mark of the second half for a 33-26 lead, but Charleston did not hit its next field goal until the 2:06 mark.
