Sunday February 15th, 2015

With seconds remaining in its game against Northwestern Sunday and trailing 54-51, Iowa's Jared Uthoff hit a twisting, leaning three-pointer to force overtime.

The clutch shot caused momentary grieving amongst Northwestern fans, including former NBA coach Doug Collins, the father of Wildcats coach Chris Collins.

The shot would end up not mattering, though, as Northwestern went on to win the game 66-61.

The loss dropped Iowa to 15-10 on the season and 6-6 in conference.

Northwestern earned only its second Big Ten win of the season, improving to 2-10 in conference and snapping a 10-game conference losing streak.
