On Monday night, Butler beat Creighton on a layup with 1.9 seconds left by Roosevelt Jones.

Butler beat Creighton 58-56 Monday on a game-winning layup with 1.9 seconds left by Roosevelt Jones.

Jones' layup came after Butler guard Alex Barlow grabbed an offensive rebound to keep the possession alive.

After Jones' layup, Creighton's Devin Brooks missed a last-second three for the Bluejays.

Jones played 38 minutes for the Bulldogs, and finished the night with 18 points and six rebounds. Guard Kellen Dunham led the team with 19 points.

Creighton is currently in last place in the Big East. Butler is in second place.
