BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) Jaylin Airington drilled a jumper with four seconds left to lift Cal State Bakersfield to a 64-62 win over UMKC Saturday night, vaulting the Roadrunners past the Kangaroos and into third place in the Western Athletic Conference standings in the process.

The Roadrunners (12-16, 7-5) were a half-game behind the Kangaroos (11-17, 6-5) going into the game and now are a half-game ahead, trailing first-place New Mexico State and Grand Canyon.

Javonte Maynor knocked down a 3-pointer with 1:33 to play to give the Roadrunners a 60-56 lead, but Frank Williams Jr. answered with a three with 1:15 left to cut the lead to one, 60-59. Kevin Mays' jumper with 48 seconds left made it 62-59, but Martez Harrison tied it with a 3 with 29 seconds to go.

Airington scored 16 points while Mays and Maynor scored 15 points apiece to lead CS Bakersfield.

Harrison scored 28 points to lead UMKC.
