GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) North Carolina's Kennedy Meeks and Theo Pinson are game-time decisions for the No. 19 Tar Heels' game with No. 14 Louisville in Thursday's Atlantic Coast Conference tournament quarterfinals.

Team spokesman Matt Bowers says Meeks has been cleared medically to play after battling an illness that included a fever and kept him out of recent practices, but the team wanted to see him warm up before deciding if he'd play. Pinson has a sore left foot, the same one he broke in late January that kept him out for about a month.

Neither played in Wednesday's tournament-opening win against Boston College. Afterward coach Roy Williams said he didn't expect Meeks would be ready, but Meeks said he ''hopefully'' could play. Pinson said he was day-to-day.
