Northern Iowa's Ben Jacobson signed a 10-year contract extension to stay at the school, ESPN reported Tuesday.

"It's the perfect fit,'' Jacobson told ESPN. "We continue to move ahead with resources that allow us to raise the bar.''

Final Four Preview: What to expect from Michigan St. and Duke

Jacobson, in his ninth year at Northern Iowa, already signed one 10-year extension after the 2010 NCAA tournament, in which the Panthers upset No. 2 seed Kansas in the NCAA tournament.

Jacobson led the Panthers to just the school's fourth-ever NCAA tournament victory this season, when it won in the Round of 64 over Wyoming. Northern Iowa spent every week of 2015 ranked in the Top 25, and reached it's first-ever Top 10 Associated Press-poll ranking.

The Panthers finished the season 31-4, finishing 16-2 and falling to Louisville in the Round of 32.
