Iowa State's Naz Long took a minute on Twitter to publicly wish former coach Fred Hoiberg well in his new job with the Chicago Bulls.

Though Hoiberg won't be officially announced as Bulls coach until Tuesday afternoon, his departure from Iowa State is currently the worst-kept secret in the basketball business, and Long's farewell all but confirms it, if further evidence was needed.

"The impact you've had on this school, program and community will never be forgotten," Long, a rising senior, wrote. "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a Cyclone, the decision to further my career here was one of the best decisions of my life simply because you believed in me when no one else did.

"This is the perfect time to make this jump and I am nothing but happy for you Carol and the family," Long continued. You can read the full note below.

As Hoiberg transitions to the NBA, there would appear to be no hard feelings back in Ames.
