OXFORD, Ohio (AP) Rod Mills made three 3-pointers and finished with 12 points and LJ Livingston scored 10 to help Miami (Ohio) beat Kenyon College 68-47 on Tuesday night.

Miami (1-1) used a 15-0 run, during which Mills hit a pair of 3's and scored seven points, to open up a 29-10 lead with five minutes left in the first half. Kenyon committed turnovers on six out of seven possessions during that stretch and went scoreless for nearly seven minutes.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Bennett Grigull and Matt Shifrin trimmed the Lords' deficit to 31-21 with 1:49 remaining in the half. But Miami scored 19 of the next 26 points, extending its lead to 50-28 and Kenyon trailed by at least 20 the rest of the way.

Grigull scored 11 points for Kenyon, which made just 16 of 45 (36 percent) field goals.

Miami made six more free throws (14) than Kenyon attempted.
