Martin was 10 of 14 from the floor for the Bulldogs (6-1) who shot 57 percent. Butler was only 3 of 11 from the arc but made 24 of 31 free throws.
Butler shot 62 percent in the first half to lead 43-36.
A steal and basket by Scott got Indiana State within four, 53-49, before Butler went on an 8-0 run with six points from Dunham.
Indiana State cut the lead down to six but a Dunham 3-pointer started a 10-0 for a 75-59 advantage and the Bulldogs led by double figures the rest of the way.
