Dedrick Basile scored seven of his 21 points in a game-deciding 19-0 run in the second half as Cal State Bakersfield defeated Dartmouth 69-62 on Monday night.

The Big Green (3-5) took their only lead on Miles Wright's two free throws just over a minute after halftime, but the Roadrunners (6-3) scored the game's next 19 points to take control. Basile had a steal and assisted on Brent Wrapp's layup to cap the run for a 51-33 lead with 12:16 to play.

Aly Ahmed had his first double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds for Bakersfield, which has won three in a row.

Evan Boudreaux scored 14 points and fellow freshman Guilien Smith added 13 for Dartmouth, which was outrebounded 44-29 and fell to 1-4 on the road.
