Groselle scores 27, Creighton rolls past North Texas 105-82

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) Geoffrey Groselle, Ronnie Harrell Jr. and Zach Hanson scored career highs on Monday night to help Creighton beat North Texas 105-82.

Groselle led the way for Creighton (8-4) with 27 points. The 7-foot senior was 8 of 9 from the field and 11 of 14 from the foul line to surpass a previous best of 20 points he registered in a 97-76 win against UMass on Nov. 25.

Maurice Watson Jr. added 16 points, Harrell had 14 points, 11 rebounds and five assists and Hanson had 13 points.

The Bluejays opened the game with a 19-7 run and led 54-39 at the break. North Texas (4-8) never threatened in the second half.

J-Mychal Reese had 20 points and Deckie Johnson had 16 for the Mean Green. Ja'Michael Brown scored 12 and Jeremy Combs 11.
