Hart, Marist beat Brown in 2 overtimes, 84-83

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) Khallid Hart scored a career-high 37 points, including the last five of the second overtime, to lead Marist to an 84-83 victory over Brown on Tuesday night in the Hall of Fame Classic.

Brown led 83-79 with under a minute left when Hart connected for a 3-pointer and, after a Brown turnover, made two free throws with 11 seconds left. Another turnover, Brown's 19th, ended the game.

Cedric Kuakumensah had 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Jason Massey added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Bears (3-7). Steven Spieth added 16 points.

Hart scored with 12 seconds left in regulation to complete a 7-0 Marist run over the final 1:25. Hart had a last-second basket erased after the officials reversed themselves and called him for an offensive foul.

Marist (4-6) led by six in the first overtime but Tavon Blackmon and JR Hobbie hit 3-pointers to tie it.
