Manhattan outlasts Siena for 92-87 win in 3OT

NEW YORK (AP) Shane Richards scored four of his 21 points in the final 15 seconds, and Rich Williams added 19 points to help Manhattan outlast Siena for a 92-87 win in triple overtime on Monday night.

RaShawn Stores scored 16, Calvin Crawford had a career-high 15 points and Zane Waterman finished with 12 and a career-best 13 rebounds for Manhattan (5-8, 2-2 Metro-Atlantic).

Williams made a layup and Richards hit a 3-pointer to put the Jaspers up 84-79 less than a minute into the third overtime.

A jumper by Williams made it 88-83 with 1:31 left, but Brett Bisping hit the first of two free throws and, after an offensive rebound by Nico Clareth, Ryan Oliver's 3 pulled Siena (9-6, 2-2) within one 28 seconds later.

Richards made a layup and, after a Saints turnover near midcourt, two free throws to seal it.

Javion Ogunyemi had 26 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks - all of which at least tied career highs - for Siena.
