The team announced the injury after Jackson was taken to the locker room midway through the first half. Jackson, a junior, entered the game averaging 17.6 points and 5.3 assists for one of the nation’s top offenses.

Notre Dame won the game 76–49 to move to 14–5 and 5–2 in the ACC.
