COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Torrance Rowe made a pair of late free throws and Tennessee Tech edged Tennessee State in a crazy finish, 81-79.

Tied at 79 - and as the final horn was sounding - Rowe was fouled by Tahjere McCall while launching a 3. After officials reviewed if there was time on the clock when the foul was committed, Rowe knocked down 2 of 3 free throws with 0.5 seconds on the clock for the win.

The Golden Eagles (15-7, 7-2 Ohio Valley) made 7 of 8 from the line in the last 50 seconds. Rowe finished with 19 points, Hakeem Rogers scored 23 points - his career high - and Ryan Martin had 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Keron Deshields scored Tennessee State's last 11 points, including three straight at the line with five seconds remaining to tie at 79. He finished with a career-high 37 points for the Tigers (14-6, 5-2). McCall had 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
