The NBA Dunk Contest will take place in Toronto tonight, and Memphis’s Shaq Goodwin paid homage to the high flying contest and earned a technical foul in the process during the team’s game against Tulane on Saturday afternoon.

Goodwin had a clear path to rim in the final minute of the first half and decided to use his leaping ability to mimic Vince Carter’s iconic elbow-on-the-rim “honeydip” dunk from the 2000 Dunk Contest.

The senior is the Tigers leading scorer this season with 15.4 points per game in addition to averaging eight rebounds.
