JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) Antwon Portley and Trevis Wyche scored 17 points apiece and each made a 3-pointer and two free throws in the final minute to send Saint Peter's to a 61-57 win over Canisius on Sunday.

Portley's 3-pointer gave the Peacocks (11-13, 9-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) a 54-52 lead and Wyche added another trey. Malcolm McMillan responded with a 3-pointer to cut the lead to two with 15 seconds left but Portley and Wyche both went to the line and extended the lead before the Golden Griffins (11-16, 6-10) made a final basket at the buzzer.

Chazz Patterson added 10 points and eight rebounds for Saint Peter's, which won its third straight.

Kevin Bleeker had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Canisius with Phil Valenti and Jermaine Crumpton each scoring 11.

Neither team led by double figures.
