WASHINGTON (AP) Tyler Cavanaugh scored 22 points, Patricio Garino had 19 points and eight rebounds and George Washington beat La Salle 90-50 on Sunday.

Cavanaugh recorded his sixth 20-plus game this season and Garino was 7 of 7 from the field with four 3-pointers and four steals. Garino's only miss came at the free-throw line but George Washington hit 18 of 19.

George Washington jumped out to a 52-21 halftime lead after shooting 63 percent from the field, including 10 of 12 3-pointers.

Yuta Watanabe made three 3-pointers and scored 11 for George Washington (20-7, 9-5 Atlantic 10), which made 14 of 20 from long range. Garino sank four 3s and Cavanaugh hit three. Paul Jorgensen had a career-high seven assists.

George Washington improved to 13-2 at home this season.

Jordan Price scored 17 points for La Salle (6-19, 2-12), which was 19 of 59 from the field (32 percent) and hit 5 of 13 free throws.
