LOS ANGELES (AP) Gabe Vincent made 8 of 13 from the field, including four 3-pointers, and finished with 20 points, and Michael Bryson added 13 points to help UC Santa Barbara beat Cal State Northridge 78-63 Thursday night.

Mitch Brewe scored 11 with nine rebounds for UCSB, which has won five in a row.

The Gauchos (14-12, 8-5 Big West Conference) never trailed and took a 13-3 lead when Vincent hit his second 3 less than five minutes in.

The Matadors (10-18, 5-9) trailed 44-19 at the break, their lowest-scoring half this season, and by as many as 38 in the second half.

Aaron Parks led CSUN with 18 points. Tavrion Dawson scored 14.

UCSB held a 49-36 advantage on the glass and limited the Matadors to 31.3 percent (20-of-64) shooting, including 4 of 22 from 3-point range.
