Tulane men's basketball head coach Ed Conroy was fired on Friday night.
Tulane men's basketball head coach Ed Conroy will reportedly not return next season, according to CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish.
Conroy has compiled a 91–102 record with 29 conference wins since taking the helm before the 2010-2011 season. Tulane has a 11–21 (3–15) record on the season.
Since November, Tulane has dismissed football coach Curtis Johnson and volleyball coach Sinisa Momic.
Multiple reports of his firing came as Tulane played Houston in the 2016 American Athletic Conference tournament in Orlando, Fla., on Friday night. The Green Wave upset the second-seeded Cougars to advance to Saturday’s semifinals.
Conroy previously coached at The Citadel for four years and amassed a 49–76 record.
