A late Iowa foul on a three-point attempt and three free throws by Temple’s Quenton DeCosey sent Friday’s game to overtime.

The Owls had been down by double-digits in the second half and trailed the Hawkeyes much of the game. Down late, they began fouling and Iowa’s Peter Jok split a pair at the stripe with eight seconds left.

DeCosey wound up with the ball in his hands with two seconds left and pulled up from the left wing, where he was fouled by Iowa’s Anthony Clemmons, setting up three free throws.

With Iowa up three, DeCosey made all three free throws to send the game to overtime.
