Former Delaware guard Kory Holden has transferred to South Carolina, reports ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

Holden, a rising junior, averaged 17.7 points and 4.2 assists per game for the Blue Hens this season, earning All-CAA second-team honors. He posted 12.4 points and five assists per contest in his freshman campaign.

Due to NCAA transfer rules, Holden will sit out next season.

“This redshirt year will allow me to develop my weaknesses and improve my strengths that have made me successful up to this point,” Holden said.
