GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) The Atlantic Coast Conference will hold its men's lacrosse tournament at Duke and is expanding and changing the format of its baseball championship.
The league wrapped up two days of fall meetings Thursday in Chapel Hill.
The ACC pulled 10 neutral-site championships out of North Carolina last month in response to a law that restricts the rights of LGBT people. League officials have said that decision doesn't apply to events like the lacrosse championship that are held either on campus or at schools' designated home venues.
The league also is expanding its baseball championship from 10 to 12 teams. It will consist of four pools of three teams apiece, with the winners advancing to a four-team single-elimination bracket.
The 2017 baseball tournament was moved from Durham to Louisville, Kentucky.
