Video: Bradley signs 5- and 9-year-old brothers for a good cause

Monday September 9th, 2013

Didn't see this on Friday, but Bradley added two new players to its program -- with a combined height of 7-foot-9.

Brothers Johnah (age 5) and Jarret Sahrs (9) signed letters of intent with the Braves, who are helping support the Sahrs family as Johnah continues his recovery from Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma. There's a nice video of the signing, where the brothers agree to be good teammates, follow rules, listen to their parents, and cheer loudly for the Braves.

According to the press release, Johnah had surgery in 2012 and has been undergoing treatment for the past 18 months. The Sahrs family has a Facebook page that details Johnah's battle against the disease and his fight to beat it. A connection between the family and the program was made by TeamImpact, a nonprofit that works to better the lives of children with life-threatening diseases.
