The Georgia Dome knows a few things about quick changes to the playing surface.

After installing natural grass inside the venue for an international friendly soccer game last week, crews were back to the hardwood in time for the start of Wednesday’s SEC championship basketball tournament.

In a video released by SEC Digital Network, we see how crews from Praters Athletic Flooring in Chattanooga, Tenn., prepped the new floor we’ll see during the tournament, including giving it an opaque look with the oversized “SEC” wordmark across the center of the court.

A polished floor, certainly. Now it is up to Florida and the rest of the tourney leaders to keep it that way.
