Tim Brewster's high-energy, ultra-optimistic revival effort at Minnesota did not get off to a wonderful start, as the Gophers were beaten at home by Bowling Green -- on a two-point conversion in overtime. Minnesota's secondary doesn't have the greatest of reputations these days, given that it has yielded 857 passing yards in its past two games. Texas Tech throttled the maroon and gold for 445 yards in a comeback win in the Insight Bowl, and the Falcons piled up 412 more on Saturday.
