Not that a ton of evidence is required to determine that the Panthers are bad -- they are, after all, 0-11 -- but this stat helps put it in perspective: FIU finished dead last in the country in third-down conversion percentage, at a measly 23.6, or 38-of-161. Each of the two teams slotted for the BCS title game finished with a rate of more than double FIU's -- West Virginia converts at a 50.3 percent clip, while Missouri converts at 54.6 percent. Florida, incidentally, is ranked No. 1 in this category, at 56.3 percent.
