While the Rebels' upset of Florida gained the school national attention earlier in the month, Houston Nutt's win over Arkansas -- where Nutt coached the previous 10 seasons -- was personal vindication. The Rebels's rise during Nutt's return made his homecoming something to remember, despite the boos that came from the stands. This Saturday is another episode in SEC West coaches facing their former teams, as Tommy Tuberville, who coached at Ole Miss for four years, hosts the Rebels. Both teams have 4-4 records, but the War Eagle is in descent while Nutt's batch appears to be improving.

When all is said and done with the Scarlet Knights' 2008 campaign, many of the fingers will still be pointed at quarterback Mike Teel's inability to carry the offense, but his performance Saturday will not be used as evidence against him. The fifth-year senior threw five of his six touchdown passes in the first half and spearheaded the 54-34 manhandling of Pitt in the Steel City. After starting 0-2 in the conference, Greg Schiano's team has a legitimate shot at the conference title. If Rutgers wants to add to its pair of wins, though, Teel will have to continue to be a steady hand, not a pocket risk.
