Report: Former Alabama running back Dee Hart to transfer to Colorado State

Thursday July 31st, 2014

Former Alabama running back Dee Hart will transfer to Colorado State, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Hart graduated from Alabama in June, so he will not have to sit out the 2014 season.

Rams' head coach Jim McElwain was the offensive coordinator at Alabama while Hart was being recruited in 2011. He left Alabama in 2012.

Hart injured his knee injury before his freshman season in 2011, and then  hurt it again after returning a punt against Ole Miss the following season.

During the 2012 and 2013 seasons, Hart ran the ball just 43 times for 164 yards.

Former Colorado State running back Kapri Bibbs ran for 1,741 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2013, but left for the NFL. He was signed by the Denver Broncos after going undrafted.
