The 6-foot-1 280-pounder, who will have to redshirt this season, transferred to TCU for personal reasons and also for reasons tied to the differences between the Huskers and Horned Frogs; according to the report, citing information from his father, Curry wanted to move closer to home and likes the defensive style employed by TCU and how it uses tackles.

In two seasons with Nebraska, Curry played 17 games and started eight, recording 26 total tackles and two sacks as a sophomore.
