The Georgia Bulldogs finished third in the SEC East a year ago with an 8-5 (5-3) record, despite injuries to starting quarterback Aaron Murray, star running back Todd Gurley, wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell and other key players. The team enters 2014 ranked No. 12 in SI's preseason Top 25.

While Murray is off to the NFL, the Bulldogs are hoping that Gurley, a member of's preseason All-American team, can carry the load in 2014. Georgia also boasts a defensive star in linebacker Ramik Wilson, who's on SI's All-American second team.
