Michigan corner Jabrill Peppers is expected to play on Saturday against Notre Dame, despite leaving the team's opener with an ankle injury. The freshman Peppers did not practice on Sunday and was getting treatment on his ankle on Monday morning.

"He's been in there all morning getting treatment, we haven't started school yet (so he has time)," head coach Brady Hoke said. "We decided, I made a decision at halftime, so they could start treating it right then. (We didn't bring him out) in the second half, he'd have (just) been in a boot on the sideline.
Peppers was ranked the third-best player in the country by Rivals.com for the class of 2014. He was listed as the top cornerback in the nation.
