McNeese State vs. Nebraska

The Nebraska Cornhuskers will try to improve their record to 2-0 this Saturday as they host McNeese State in Lincoln. In Week 1, Nebraska defeated Florida Atlantic 55-7.

Nebraska and McNeese State have played just once before, with the Cornhuskers winning 38-14 in 2002 at Memorial Stadium.

The Huskers won their season opener for the 29th straight year.

Senior Ameer Abdullah entered the year as the active career leader in the FBS in all-purpose yards.

Abdullah’s 232 yards were the fifth-most rushing yards in the country in Week 1.
